Hello, my name is Georgia, and I am a 21-year-old University student currently undergoing a Bachelor of Health Science at the university of Canterbury. Currently in my third year, my sights are set on graduating, and ideally leading me towards a fulfilling career in the sport and health sector. My lifelong connection with sports has fuelled my passion in this field, as I have actively participated in various sports throughout my life. This personal involvement has ignited a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to the well-being of individuals through the lens of sports. I have represented New Zealand in Water Polo which has always been my biggest passion. Beyond my academic and sporting endeavours, I am very outgoing, patient, and kind. I have always had a very nurturing personality which is displayed in my passion and expression in childcare. From a young age I have babysat my family friends and neighbours, to growing older, and getting full time nannying and babysitting positions across various ages. Working as a nanny, has given me the ability to experience the first-hand joy of guiding and supporting children. This role has allowed me to combine my nurturing personality and enjoyment of caregiving to create a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children. My time babysitting has enhanced my interpersonal skills and taught me the importance of adaptability, empathy, and effective communication.
My experience includes:
– Babysitting 10 Month old female
– Babysitting 2x girls aged 2 & 4
– Nanny for 16 month old boy
– Babysitting for 6 year-old boy and 5 year-old girl
– Flippa ball coach for year 3 & 4
– Flippa ball coach for years 5 & 6
– Flippa ball ref for years 3,4,5,6&7
