Lisette

Kia ora! My name is Lisette, I’ve lived in Wellington for almost fifteen years and in that time I have done a lot of work in childcare and education. I found my way into education through working in the Wellington City Libraries, and realised that my favourite part of this job was Oct 2021 being in charge of leading school visits to the libraries and going out to the local ECEs and kindies to share some of our wonderful books with the local liittlies. This inspired me to train for my teaching qualification and go on to become a school teacher. I have also worked in other avenues of childcare, including nannying overseas, working as an after school care member, and doing some relief work in ECE. I have many years of childcare experience, mainly as a primary school teacher which I did for six years, working across the entire spectrum of primary school aged students. I also have experience in looking after under fives as a nanny and doing some EcE relief work. I also have worked for several years in after school care programs, and worked as a Brownie leader for a year
