Lily

Hi, I am Lily! I am 23 and recently moved to Wanaka. I love being a part of the community here! In my
free time I like to hike, snowboard, read and paint. I have been working with kids for 10 years, I have
worked with infants, taught swimming and tennis lessons, led outdoor trips, tutored incarcerated youth
and worked at a middle school mentoring children with low attendance. I love supporting kids in any
way I can and am always appreciative of how much they teach me. 

I like caring for children because of how much they teach me, whenever I spend a day with a child, I learn a new activity or skill or a way to be creative. I find it fascinating how children see the world and like being able to explore it with them. 

No two days of babysitting are the same, I love how versatile it is and am always excited to meet a new kid and their family. I also enjoy the ability to be able to watch kids learn and grow, I’m always impressed by how quickly they are able to learn a new sport or find a new creative passion. I am happy to do any housework as well.
