Izzy

As an American immigrant who relocated to New Zealand six years ago. I am a current, pursuing psychology student at the University of Otago and am eager to embark on a part-time role in childcare.

My diverse experiences, particularly in the realm of caring for children with special needs, have endowed me with a wealth of patience, adaptability, and a deeply compassionate approach to childcare. I recognize the paramount importance of crafting an environment where children can not only thrive but also feel secure and supported.

My journey with children with special needs has finely honed my ability to tailor caregiving approaches to suit individual requirements, fostering a customized and inclusive environment. The roles required diaper changing, housework, cooking, bathtime, bedtime, overnight care and enrichment activities inside/outside the home. I firmly believe in providing every child with the understanding and encouragement they need to reach their full potential.

I take pride in fostering positive interactions with young minds. Witnessing their distinct personalities flourish brings me immense fulfillment and aligns seamlessly with my academic pursuits. I am excited about the prospect of contributing my skills and enthusiasm to enrich the lives of the children under my care within the framework of Project Nanny.
