Emily

Kia ora! My name is Emily, I’m 24 and recently moved to Dunedin in February to study an Applied Masters of Social Work. I did my undergraduate in Wellington in Environmental Studies and International Development and am originally from Christchurch. My work experience includes jobs in hospitality, retail, childcare, gymnastics coaching, horticulture, and transport. I love the outdoors, meeting new people, and spending time with my friends and flatmates.  

I’ve had a range of babysitting experience, especially in the past few years where I regularly or casually babysat for about five different families in Wellington. I have the most experience with children aged 3 to 12 years old and am always eager to learn and gain more experience with children of all ages.   

I love learning about who kids are and what they enjoy and I value being able to contribute to a safe environment in which they can learn, grow, or just relax and be themselves. I strongly value open and honest communication and building genuine relationships with families.
