Our Purpose
Our purpose is to change the way parents feel leaving their children at home with a sitter; giving them peace of mind so they can enjoy their time away. We aim to provide a memorable and convenient service for families. The contribution our sitters make towards a child’s wellbeing in their care is important to us as we compliment parent’s wishes in shaping their child’s development and any specific instructions.
What we offer
We provide last minute or pre-arrange babysitters in Dunedin, Wanaka, Queenstown, Christchurch and Wellington. We also have permanent/temporary nannies on our team to care at a child’s home. We are now providing permanent babysitters for Auckland. We want our parents to feel confident that their children are in the best care possible

I’m deeply passionate about supporting families and creating safe, loving, and engaging care for children. With a background in early childhood education and home-based care, I cherish helping little ones discover, learn, and grow in their own unique way.
As a mum to a young son, I truly understand how important it is to find care that feels not only trustworthy, but also kind, nurturing, and dependable. That’s why at Project Nanny, we take the time to connect families with caregivers who feel like the perfect fit—bringing both comfort and peace of mind.
Whether you’re needing short-term support, ongoing care, or just some guidance along the way, my team and I are here to walk beside you and make the process as simple and stress-free as possible.

My name is Samantha, and I’m proud to work alongside Camilla here at Project Nanny, supporting her in providing exceptional childcare solutions for families.
With over 12 years of experience in childcare, including many years as a long-term nanny around the world, I’ve gained a deep understanding of what makes the right match between families and nannies. After welcoming my own children, I stepped back from nannying to focus on helping families find their very own “Nanny McPhee.”
