Hi, I’m Ruby!

I am a 20-year-old university student studying at the University of Canterbury. I would describe myself as bubbly and energetic. I am also a very active person who enjoys playing sports, specifically hockey.

I understand the significant impact I have on the children entrusted in my care. Therefore, with a keen awareness of this responsibility, I ensure that I approach this job with enthusiasm, patience, and a caring nature. I make an effort to adapt to each child’s personality and needs.

I really enjoy interacting with young children and have been babysitting since the age of 14. This experience spans a wide range of different families, providing me with vast experience.

More specifically, my experience includes:

• In 2022, I was a part-time nanny for a 14-20 month-old.
• In 2023, I was a part-time nanny for two primary school-aged children.
• Experience in nannying for pre-school and two-year-olds.
• Hotshots tennis coach for 5-year-olds.
• Various hockey coaching positions with ages ranging from 5-11.
