Milla

Hi I’m Milla,
I have spent majority of my teenage and adult life around and babysitting children including my now three-year-old niece whom I lived with up until recently and cared for as if she were my own. I have experience with children of all ages. A lot of this has come from spending Ume with and babysitting children of family friends, along with local babysitting jobs.

During my years at Intermediate I obtained my New Zealand Practical in umpiring netball, this allowed me to
umpire primary age netball through to adult and premier grade netball: I did this up until I completed High School.

In 2016 (for approximately 4-5 months), I was employed as a casual summer lifeguard at the local swimming complex where my most important role was to supervise swimmers of all ages.

I am very patient with children and love helping them learn while also having fun. Safety is my utmost concern and I carefully monitor children when I take them on outings. I have previous experience as a lifeguard where my role was to supervise swimmers of all ages and abilities, the majority of these swimmers being young children. I understand good nutritional choices and I am highly capable of preparing meals that are healthy for kids but that they also love to eat.

I display excellent verbal communication skills and can assist with all needs. Currently, I am without a first aid certificate, this is something I have had previously and I would be more than happy to undergo further first aid training if necessary. I have held a full licence for five years and own a large and very reliable vehicle.

Exploring the world through the eyes of a child is truly the best, I am so fond of helping children learn and grow. Every day is a new opportunity to have fun and be creative and no two days are ever the same – I look forward to meeting you.
