Hi, my name is Olivia and I am a nanny and a registered nurse in my mid-twenties. I have a passion for health and wellness and became a qualified nutritionist after completing my degree in Human nutrition. My ultimate love though is working with children of all ages, helping them to develop and learn new skills and watch them grow. I recently completed my nursing training on a paediatric medical ward, where I felt incredibly lucky to be able to care for tamariki and their whanau during difficult times.

My childcare philosophy focuses on working as a team with the parents, the nanny agency and myself to provide a safe, creative but most importantly happy environment for the child. Children need encouragement, support and proper nourishment to develop mentally, physically and socially. When all parties work together this provides the child with the opportunity to thrive.

I have been a nanny for over seven years now and have had many unique and rewarding roles over the years. I have cared for children aged four months to 14 years, working part-time and full-time. I have experience with twins, one of which has a serious medical condition who has been acutely unwell for a lot of his life and I have spent many hours in hospital caring for him and supporting his family. Furthering this, I have done overnight work for many families, including being solely responsible for 4 children on a frequent basis overnight. I am very experienced and confident with children of all ages and stages and pride myself on providing quality, fun care.
