Grace

Hello!
My name is Grace I’m 22 and in my final year of a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications with a minor in Māori and Indigenous studies. I plan to continue from 2024 with my Bachelor of Laws, in which I have 3 years remaining. Alongside this you will find me training for a multitude of competitions in running, rowing, swimming etc – I am a very sporty energetic person that carries an immense level of passion and motivation. I believe I hold a very caring nature to my personality as I have grown up being the older sister that continually would look out for my younger brother, this therefore was portrayed into my relationships with a multitude of people. Its second nature to me to always look out for those around me and have their best interests at heart. Therefore, I believe this ‘trait’ of mine is well suited and put to good use caring for younger children. I take great honour and respect in the role of a caregiver that can have an immense positive effect in their lives to be an ear to talk to, voice of encouragement while always being a friendly face.
For many years now I have I cared for children through a variety of ages where my duties have included helping with morning and night routines, housework, coaching netball and swimming as well as tutoring them through their homework.
I believe I hold a very caring nature, while also being a fun and friendly person to be around which I like to consider are my main strengths that I look forward to using to help families in Christchurch.
I look forward to meeting you.
